Product Details

Pittsburgh's three rivers -- the Allegheny, the Monongahela, and the Ohio -- have long played a huge role in the city's daily life. In the early years, they enabled the city's growth through shipping and transportation. More recently, the rivers have been central to recreation. No matter where you live in Pittsburgh, at some point you will find yourself crossing these rivers.

To knit this pattern, you should know how to do a provisional cast on, using any method; work a rib and cable pattern; slip stitches; pick up stitches from along a slipped-stitch edge, both knitwise and purlwise; work short rows using w&t; and work an I-cord bind off.

The ribbed cable pattern is both written and charted, and directions are included for the I-cord bind off. Additionally, because the short rows are worked in garter stitch, the wraps do not need to be picked up.

This pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
