Product Details
In the Texas Hill Country where I live there is this gutsy little native Texas wildflower, the Rock Daisy, that grows up through piles of rocks, or up through cracks in the exposed limestone. Imagine if we could all be this fearless and persistent!
Rock Daisy is a deep asymmetrical triangle that is crocheted from side to side, and gets its shape from the unique method of increasing and decreasing. The stitch pattern is an easy to memorize four-row repeat for each section that makes this a no stress and relaxing project.
Rows are crocheted on the diagonal giving the scarf the most lovely drape, and little florets are crocheted on one side of the bottom edge adding an interesting element to the scarf.
For my scarf I used two skeins of a cool cotton yarn with a pretty sheen, Modern Cotton DK (cotton/Modal, 335 yards/skein) by Berroco in the color Piper (#6603).
