The Roots socks are inspired by traditional Ukrainian embroidery. These socks are worked in the round, from the cuff to the toe. The pattern includes a written description and charts.
Gauge32 sts * 34 rows = 4” (10 сm) in colorwork stitch in the round (after blocking) with US 3.0 (3.25 mm)
YarnMondim Rosa Pomar 100gr/385m – 100% portuguese wool main color 301, contrasting color 115 (for one pair of socks you need about 50 grams of the main color and about 25 grams of contrasting color)
Notionscircular needles or DPN US 2.0 (2.75 mm), circular needles or DPN US 2.5 (3.00 mm), circular needles or DPN US 3.0 (3.25 mm), scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle
