About the Design: The large motif is an adaptation of a multiple harness weaving draft, from the early 1700’s called “Little Roses and Cloverleaf in Point Twill.”
The construction is a basic Norwegian-style drop shoulder, with the body knit circularly (with steeks). The sleeves are knit from the cuffs up and sewn in. Corrugated ribbing borders the body’s lower edge, neck edge and sleeve cuffs, with a St st facing bordering the front bands. Pewter clasps finish the look, but you can sew in a zipper, if you desire, for a more modern look!

Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rnds = 4” (10 cm) over Lice Chart with size 7 ndls and 20 sts and 22 rnds = 4” over Yoke Chart, with size 7 ndls, or size to give gauge. To save time, take time to check gauge.
