Round Rock Hanging Towel and Cloth
©2022 Texas Knit ‘Em
This pattern has an attractive stitch pattern for the body of a hanging towel and cloth. The body of the towel can be worked to whatever length fits your application. Step-by-step, detailed, and easy to follow instructions for a large buttonhole are included. The instructions are written and charts are included. Use 100% cotton worsted weight yarn for maximum absorbency. These instructions produce a dense fabric that wears well.
The cloth is shown in a solid color, and also worked with a multicolored yarn to show how the multicolored yarn influences the look of the pattern.
Early in the 1850s a small village grew up at a spot on the banks of Bushy Creek where a large round rock in the middle of the stream, marked a low water crossing. The small settlement was renamed Round Rock in honor of this now famous rock. Round Rock is part of Greater Austin metropolitan area.
