Roure (pronounced /ˈrow.ɾə/), in my husband's native language, means oak. In the forests of this beautiful corner of the Mediterranean where we live, oaks and holm oaks abound, so I imagine it was only a matter of time before this mighty and splendid tree took root in my patterns.
