Product Details
Knitting pattern no. 28 by Pizpaw Patterns is for a Rudolph the Reindeer in the Snow Jumper/Sweater to fit a baby or toddler in 6 different sizes: 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12, 12-24 and 24-36 months. To fit chest: 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22 inches or 31, 36, 41, 46, 51 and 56 cms.
The jumper has a motif of Rudolph with a pompom red nose in the snow to the front. One shoulder has a 3 button opening to make it easier to lift the jumper over baby’s head.
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply) and you will need 3.25mm and 4mm straight needles and 3 buttons. A crochet needle is optional to help pull the yarn through when making the pompom. The picture shows the jumper knitted for size 9-12 months using Rico Baby Classic DK shades: Red (009), White (001), Greige (017), Clay (037) and Black (099) Please note this pattern is written using British terminology.
