Sally the comet

This is Sally the comet knitted flat on straight knitting needles, easy to follow pattern with row by row instructions and photo-tutorial.

Finished measurements: -approx. 9.0 inches (23 cm.) long, 5.1 inches (13cm) high

Materials:

-approx. 30 grams yellow yarn (aran /4 ply)

-Black embroidery thread for eyebrows and mouth

-2 black buttons 10mm. for the eyes

-Soft polyester filling for toys or cushions

-Single point knitting needles UK 9/ US 4 (3.5 mm.)

-Tapestry needle Gauge: 21 sts x 30 rows= 10x10cm. (4” x4”)

Knit Stitch: stockinette st. (stocking st.), garter stitch, cast on, cast off/bind off, decrease (2 stitches together), increase (knit front back stitch)
