The Satellite Cowl is a slouchy soft minimalistic design that's worked seamlessly in the round using a fingering/4 ply yarn held together with a mohair silk lace/2 ply yarn.
Yarn Requirements 437 yds/400 m of fingering/4 ply yarn and 437 yds/400 m of mohair lace/2 ply yarn. Both yarns are held together throughout. This yarn combination can be substituted with 437 yds/400 m of worsted/10 ply or DK/8 ply yarn.
Needles & Notions 8 US/5 mm circular needles, 24”/60 cm long, or needle size to obtain gauge; 9 US/5.5 mm circular needles, 24”/60 cm long; 10 US/6 mm circular needles, 24”/60 cm long; 1 stitch marker; Tapestry/yarn needle to weave in yarn ends.
Gauge 19.5 stitches and 24 rounds per 4”/10 cm in stockinette/stocking stitch, knitted on smallest needles, in the round, after blocking.
