Amazing Baby Shower gifts!
They have become very popular baby gifts for friends and family in the School Bus Service. Pattern size fits 3 ¾ inch foot length (newborn and up) as long as it's comfortable. Bootie is designed from the sole up. I have left space on the sides so you can personalize the door area. When giving as gifts, I look up the colors, bus number and placements of the emergency lights for the school district for that individual. These tiny details will be noticed by the family. Needles: US 4 & 5 DP. Some embroidery required. Finished size about 4.5 inches. Tools: floss, sewing needle, yarn needle, 1 locking stitch marker.
I also have patterns for Police or Sheriff Vehicle, Ambulance and Firetruck booties (sold separately). I knit it in gold, but suggest yellow. Embroidering a stop sign on the driver's side of each bus is a cute accent.
