Scrappy Crochet Footstool

This super easy crochet footstool pattern has been designed to use up all your DK weight scraps of yarn, it's a beginner/advanced beginner level pattern as it does require crocheting in the round and a variation on the usual single crochet stitch. It's a great project to work on while you watch tv in the evening as once you reach the sides it is a one round repeat, although you do have little moments of interest when you add a new scrap of yarn. To make your own footstool you will need approximately 430g of DK acrylic yarn, a 3.5mm crochet hook, a stitch marker and the rest of the equipment can be found in the written pattern. All crochet terms are US, you will need to know how to do the following: single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet, chain, waistcoat stitch. The unfilled dimensions of the stool are 13x15 inches, the exact size of your stool will vary depending on how much you fill it.
