Product Details
A cute and easy pattern for a toy horse. The sailor shirt is fun to make too. All pieces are knit flat and then seamed. The mane and tail are made by knotting lengths of yarn onto the toy (instructions included). Knitting skills required include stockinette and garter stitch, increases and decreases, changing yarn colours.
Materials Horse: 50g of worsted weight yarn (MC), 20g of worsted weight yarn in contrasting colour (CC), small amount of yarn for embroidery, 2 small black buttons or safety eyes, stuffing, pair of 4 mm (US size 6) knitting needles, tapestry needle
Sailor shirt: 20g of fingering weight yarn, pair of 2.75mm (US size 2) knitting needles, 12" of ribbon (optional), tapestry needle, 3 stitch holders or scraps of yarn.
