Important note on the used yarns For the sample I used a combination of a cobweb linen and a heavy lace merino yarn.
You might want to give this idea a try - it's worth it ;)
YarnStories Linen thread (Lithuanian linen), cobweb weight (100g/ 1950 yds.) held together with Mia, heavy lace weight by Wollfaktor (100 g/656 yds.). Alternatively a heavy fingering weight/light sport weight yarn held single at approx. (100g/ 500 yds.) to achieve a fabric that drapes well and gives you the correct gauge. More yarn ideas can be found in the in the ravelry group (designs by Isabell Kraemer).
