Product Details
Senary features alternating columns of simple cables and open fagot lace that grow as three triangles into a trapezoid shaped shawl. Six new columns are created for each pattern repeat, hence the name.
The pattern is both charted (using StitchMastery) and written, is intuitive once you get going and easy to memorize which makes this a surprisingly fast but interesting knit in aran weight yarn.
The featured samples worked 10 pattern repeats. Fewer repeats could be worked or the shawl could be extended indefinitely - information is included to let you determine how much yarn you will need to work extra repeats.
Stitches used: garter tab, knit and purl M1 left and right, yo, ssk, p2tog, cable back and cable front
