Product Details

September House is worked from the bottom up in one piece. The sleeves are worked separately and joined to the body before working the yoke. The pattern may be worked with or without waist shaping.

The measurements given are actual garment measurements. September House is intended to be worn with between 0-4” of negative ease in the bust. To determine your size, subtract 0-4” to your bust measurement and select the size that most closely corresponds to that measurement. Notes are included on working this pattern with positive ease.

The sample was made with Jill Draper Makes Stuff Valkill. Although this yarn is listed as a DK weight, it knits up at a range of gauges because it "fluffs" out. The gauge in the pattern is 4 sts /1" (2.54cm) so finding the right DK may be a challenge. I think a worsted weight would work just as well.

A suggested substute yarn is shown below.
