Sesame Street Elmo stuffed toy

It’s Elmo! He's my original design that I created based on the character from Sesame Street. This pattern is purely fan art (flattery in its highest form), and is in no way associated with the TV series.

It helps to have some experience making amigurumi toys to complete him successfully (intermediate skill level). If you can crochet in continuous rounds using a magic ring and know basic stitches, you shouldn’t have any trouble. He is crocheted in rounds in several pieces, then sewn together. This pattern takes the better part of a 3.5-oz skein of red yarn, and scrap amounts of the other colors (white, black, orange)—you may already have what you need in your stash. You'll also need some black embroidery floss and 8mm safety eyes.
