Product Details

This shawl is worked up in two skeins of Ysolda Teague's new yarn, Blend No. 1; but the great thing about the pattern is that any two fancy skeins of sport/sock you've been holding on to could be substituted. Then, go on a stash dive to find a cool edging yarn to go with it!

Wrap is worked sideways from one narrow edge to the other. Increases and decreases are worked in groups of 4 to maintain the stitch pattern, for a striking line. After finishing the body of the wrap, the edging is picked up with the secondary yarn, and is worked back and forth with short row shaping, and a picot bind off.

The yarn used for the edging can be the same weight as the body of the wrap, or like mine, a slightly heavier yarn.
