Product Details
Meet our knit Shark. He’s cute, cuddly and is looking forward to meeting you. From the tip of his blunted nose, to the pointed ends of his tail, this shark is all bark and no bite.
Easy enough for any knitter to create, this shark is a good starter project for anyone interested in trying their hand at knitting a stuffed animal. Our shark is suitable for advanced beginner knitters and assumes an understanding of basic stitches and standard knitting terms. Our Shark is knit flat and sewn together using a mattress stitch.
You will need approximately 60 m of medium weight dark grey (DG) coloured yarn, and 25 m of medium weight light grey (LG) yarn. With this yarn, use 4 mm (US size 6) needles. You will also need a small amount of yarn for embroidering the face, stuffing (we use ecofil or wool) and a tapestry needle to sew your shark together.
Use the yarn we suggest, or any yarn you like. This pattern scales easily, so any thickness of yarn works beautifully.
