How to crochet a cute, easy single crochet bag perfect for running errands or a night out on the town, or if you're like me, holding your crochet supplies! Great project for beginners or advanced alike. You'll need 115 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn - I used Lily Sugar n Cream in the Dark Pine colorway, H8/5mm Crochet Hook and Tapestry Needle. I do recommend cotton yarn because it’s more durable, and this bag will most likely see a lot of use, and being pulled and pushed around in a larger bag/purse. Optional supplies include: Fabric for Lining & Zipper (I used a pre-made bag that I got at Hobby Lobby and stuck inside and then sewed in place - it measured 9" wide by 6" tall) or Sewing Needle & Thread or Sewing Machine & Thread (for lining). For reference, I had my bag finished in a little over an hour and fifteen minutes. Gauge is only essential if using a similar lining to mine, and it's measured in pattern: 15 SC by 17 Rows = 4.13" (or 4 1/8") Wide.

- Weaving in ends of a tough yarn, like cotton yarn, can be hard on the fingers. Sore thumbs & frustration can be avoided with the aid of jewelry pliers
