ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Shenandoah Cowl uses simple knits, yarn overs and decreases to evoke the falling leaves and brisk winds of autumn. Nestled between simple stockinette stitch the lace panels add just enough to each round to keep the knitting interesting. Shenandoah Cowl is offered in two sizes and works well with gradient yarns or solids. Directions for both the Long and Short versions are fully written and charted as two separate patterns giving you two cowl patterns for the price of one! Named after the river valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains known for fall foliage and waterfalls.
