Product Details
This simple striped sweater is a perfect stashbuster. It’s worked from top down using five colors. The work begins with the neck ribbing. The neckline is then shaped with short rows. When the raglan increases are completed, sleeve stitches are placed on hold. The body is then worked in the round towards the hem. Sleeve stitches are then placed back on the needles and the sleeves are worked in the round towards the cuffs. Folded hem and sleeve cuffs add a nice finishing touch. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for German short rows. * This is a sister pattern to Simple Stripes (fingering weight version) that was published in 2020.
One strand of Arwetta and one strand of Tilia are held together throughout the project.
If substituting yarns, you need approximately 200 (225, 240, 260, 280, 300, 320, 340) yds / 185 (205, 220, 235, 255, 275, 290, 310) m of each yarn in each 5 colors or DK weight yarn.
