Lovely yarn. Easy to knit up with an interesting colour finish. My 9 year old granddaughter chose the multi and loves the result
Beautiful wool to knit with. I love how all the colours come through as you knit. Very economical to knit garments from this wool & was lucky enough to get my order at a discount price.
The colours are lovely but the yarn varies from think to thin which I find not so nice to knit with
Soft and easy to work with. Colour's blend beautifully
Super colours. Knits evenly. Very pleased with the result
Lovely colours but to many knotted joins and large slubs in the yarn. Probably not the quality I expected from Sirdar, as it was quite expensive to buy. Maybe the balls or yarn I purchased were a one off. But will think twice before I use again.
Lovely colours, beautiful feel. Crocheted well
First the colours. I chose Setting Sun expecting vibrant colours, but what I got can only be described as "sludgy" . I like the golds and the occasional flashes of orange and red, but the pink, to my eyes, is dull and uninspiring. Second, this is sold as aran, but I find it's more like a slightly thicker than average DK. There are also patches where the yarn is quite thick - thicker than aran! - and so I've had to be careful to work those in. I hate to be so negative, but I really looked forward to working with something very different. Having bought it, and finding it too expensive to return (I live in ROI) I have used it to make a kimono style jacket I can just throw on in the house, but I honesty would not recommend this, as for me, it didn;t live up to expectations.
The yarn is a wonderful, self-striping yarn with beautiful transitions from one color to the next. However, Love Crafts generally has little or none of this yarn in stock, so I can love and recommend it it all day long, but I have to go elsewhere to buy it
This is a well performing yarn, which knits up well, and comes in beautiful colors. I also got a pattern for a cowl, which is very easy to knit, and which has turned out to be very popular in my knitting group.
