Product Details
This top is knit sideways which gives you vertical stripes when you introduce new colors. Color changes are not written into the pattern - they are totally up to you!
**Skills required:**Decreasing Increasing Casting on at the end of a row Picking up stitches Seaming Provisional cast on/grafting (optional) (top is knit all in one piece and can either be seamed under one arm or grafted - your preference)
Because this is knit sideways, the weight of the top may cause your stitch gauge to be looser than you expect. Know your yarn! The tosh merino light used in the sample grew less in this direction than some of the silk and cotton yarns used by testers. If you are not using tosh merino light or a similar yarn, you may want to knit at a slightly tighter gauge.
