Product Details
A slice of sunrise is an asymmetric crescent shaped shawl / scarf with stripes and colour blocks inspired pink fluffy clouds in blue skies at sunrise.
Skills: Knowledge of basic crochet stitches, techniques and terminology is assumed. This shawl is worked in rows and uses simple stitches (US extended single crochet and chains), increases and decreases throughout. Stitch placement is key in this pattern. The pattern includes a colourwork chart to echo the colour changes you see in the sample, though you can use your own colour scheme too.
Materials : You will need approximately 130g 4ply / fingering weight yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook, or size needed to meet gauge. The item pictured uses John Arbon Knit by Numbers, 4ply: 1 x 25g KBN minis 4 ply Shade 54 (yellow), 1 x 100g skein KBN 4 ply Shade 41 (turquoise), 1 x 25g KBN minis 4 ply Shade 67 (pink).
