“Well, I am standing next to a mountain” (Voodoo Child, Jimi Hendrix).
This easy shawlette is a slight play on increases. The first section has four increases in each two rows, the second has six. This makes the second half longer in proportion. The top center will be just slightly raised to better cover the nape of the neck (if worn centered), while the elongated and curved wings will make it wrap gently around your shoulders. Knitted in a worsted yarn, it knits up easily and fast. A perfect solution for the first shawl of your knitting life, it has two border options: with an easy lace pattern or simply in garter stitch.
