Product Details
Small enough to fit in a palm and taking up little space on a desk, these little guys would be perfect mascots to bring good luck in the Year of the Snake.
The snake needs no wire for its coiled pose - all shaping is built right into the crochet fabric. No turned rows or tall stitches, so nothing breaks the smooth single crochet surface. And while the contrast color belly is built in, the only actual color change is in one of the lanterns, the snake requires none!
This pattern is suitable for intermediate level crocheters, who are confident with basic stitches (ch, sl st, sc, hdc, sc2tog, working in BLO/FLO) and frequently used amigurumi techniques (invisible decrease). It is written in English using US crochet terminology (UK/Aus equivalents provided). It contains many in-progress photos, but also includes a text-only appendix for easy printing, if you prefer working from a printed pattern but want to save ink and paper.
