The yarn used is worsted weight (#4) is used in the pictured shawl in the photos. I have used several brands as well. The break down of colors: 1000 yards Lion Brand Pound of Love in denim for shawl 350 yards Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn in white 200 yards Red Heart Super Saver in Lapis The total is approx. 1550 yards total and other color choices can be used.
