Product Details
Who doesn't love a large shawl that can be thrown dramatically around the shoulders or effortlessly wrapped around the neck in the sure knowledge that it'll be warm and stunning? Who also gets a bit put off by the slow progress that usually accompanies big shawls knitted in anything less than chunky yarn?
Something For The Holidays has all the drama, but none of the slow progress! Using four complementary triangular designs, these are arranged and joined (via crochet if you want!) to allow the eyelet motif to flow throughout the shawl. The straight central sections provide the base to drape around the shoulders and neck with the two end sections forming an asymmetric detail that adds to the shawl's dramatic appeal. You may also want to get out your brooches and shawl cuffs so you can style the shawl however you like!
This design is ideal for beginners wanting a project with a little challenge, but it's also a fun and rhythmic for more seasoned knitters that will keep you on your toes.
