Product Details
This tree skirt is a sampler pattern inspired by the Songs of the Season. There are 8 distinct sections, and each one pays homage to a different holiday song.
1. Walking in a Winter Wonderland 2. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 3. I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas 4. Last Christmas 5. Silver Bells/ Carol of the Bells 6. Little Drummer Boy 7. White Christmas 8. Silent Night/O Holy Night/Mary Did You Know
The finished tree skirt measures 48" x 48" and calls for worsted weight yarn. However, several people used a smaller hook and a DK yarn to make the skirt smaller for their trees. In the pattern itself, I have included all of the yarn information and variations from my testers to help you have an easier time choosing what you would like your skirt to look like. With a little bit of creativity and ingenuity, you can change each song to represent something else if you prefer. Instructional videos are included for each section.
