Product Details
“We shall find peace. We shall hear angels. We shall see the sky sparkling with diamonds.” Sonya from Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov, 1898.
Sonya is a winter’s shawl named for Chekhov’s famous character, who, finding hope amid despair in the play’s final speech, describes an image of heaven. The shawl features a knit-as-you-go i-cord edging across a central lace panel, with feathery lace spreading out from centre like angel's wings.
The instructions are written out line by line and is also charted.
