Product Details
Instructions are given for the cardigan in three sizes, 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-12 months. The generously proportioned cardigan, with minimal shaping, features all over pattern in a simple seed stitch (also known as moss stitch) with an unusual 2 + 1rib. If you can knit and purl, you can make this simple yet classic cardigan. For the more experienced knitter an alternative pattern is provided to make the garment with leaf panels up both fronts
The yarn used was a 100% cotton yarn (170m per 50gm ball), but any 4-ply fingering yarn (27 sts and 38 rows to 10 x 10cm) would work, just check the yardage per ball. You need 3 balls for the smallest size and 4 balls for the two larger sizes.
