Product Details

This cowl is deceptively simple. Sure, casting on and binding off both take for ever, but it’s a fun project, utilizing Cat Bordhi’s truly magical moebius cast on and my very favorite I cord bind off and a whole bunch of easy, beautiful knitting in between.

Lace–Weight Yarn: 430 yds lace-weight yarn. I used Schoppel Wolle Lace Ball, 1536 Fuschia. Gauge: 24 sts = 4 inches in garter stitch, measured after blocking. Needles: US #3/3.25mm, 40-47” circular needle. Measurements: 70" circ., 6" tall.

Sport-Weight Yarn: 300 yards sport-weight yarn. I used Zauberball Starke 6, 2092. Gauge: 20 st= 4” in garter stitch, measured after blocking. Needles: US #5/3.75mm 40-47” circular needle. Measurements: 66" circ., 6" tall.

Worsted-Weight Yarn: 250 yards worsted-weight yarn. I used Schoppel Wolle Gradient, colorway 1508. Gauge: 16 sts = 4” in garter stitch, measured after blocking. Needles: US #9/5.5mm 40-47” circular Measurements: 42" circ., 9" tall.
