Product Details

This cozy neck scarf is knit from the bottom up. New stitches are added at each side edge to make a triangle with long, skinny arms—just right to warm your shoulders or to wrap and tie around your neck to cover that bare spot above your coat collar.

The spiraling rib stitch pattern is easy to memorize and keeps the knitting interesting. It not only looks ruggedly handsome in a solid or tweed, but also tames the pooling that can occur with variegated yarns. Both sides are attractive so you can choose how to wear it.

Instructions are included for two versions. (Note the piece is knit flat, but a circular needle is recommended due to the large number of stitches.)

If you have more yarn and want a shawlette or shawl, just keep going.
