Stentors are just the cutest microorganisms! Big enough to be seen by the naked eye (that's up to a whopping couple of millimetres), they can even regenerate after being cut into pieces, just a long as they have a bit of their beaded nucleus remaining.
What you will need: 2 knitting needles (US2/2.75mm or as per tension advice), 10-15g blue-green yarn per microorganism (e.g. West Yorkshire Spinners Bo Peep Luxury Baby DK 686 ‘Under-The-Sea’), Oddment of light green yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 483 ‘Whizz’), Oddment of medium grey yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 460 ‘Eeyore’), Polyfil acrylic toy stuffing, 2 plastic toy safety eyes (9mm),1 tapestry needle for finishing
