Product Details

This sweet little bird is called Stevie.

She is actually available as a free tutorial on my blog, but I have also created this PDF file for a super low fee for anyone who would like a printable version. Administrative costs baby!

Her little body is made from several pieces of the body, back, head and wings.

The PDF contains full description of the tutorial including photos. I've also included a stitch chart for the little wings.

All you need is a 2.5mm crochet hook, small amounts (you'll barely use 10gm per colour at the most!) of mercerized cotton, 2 x 6mm safety eyes (although I suggest embroidering the eyes for kids under 3), a darning needle and polyfill stuffing.  Oh, and stitch markers!!

I hope you love my little Stevie Bird!

Her name was suggested by one of the lovely ladies who follows my Red Haired Amazona facie page.

And by pure coincidence the day I published this pattern I was lucky enough to watch the beautiful real life Stevie in concert with Fleetwood Mac when they played in Melbourne!

Before she sang Gypsy, she told a little story about being a young girl (the gypsy) following her dreams and encouraged everyone else in the audience to follow theirs, no matter how big or small.
