Part of the striped nursery collection, the striped blanket and bunting are a great addition to any nursery or a beautiful gift for a new parent. If this is your very first project, all items can be knitted in one colour. The blanket has arm/harness holes so that you can wrap it around your baby and attach to a buggy/car-seat. The holes can be fastened with small flat buttons (or the holes can be omitted if preferred). For the blanket, use 2 separate balls of the main colour to work the borders.
We have used acrylic yarn as it is washable, durable and usually the most cost effective (working with 100% wool may limit the washability of the blanket). Worked in red so it can be passed on to the next baby to arrive.
