This is a pattern for a Striped Container. It is knitted flat with a seam, and the base is made by simple increases. This would be fine for a beginner. Yeoman Cotton DK is sold on 400 gm cones, the equivalent in 50 gm balls is given in the yarn amounts. Any dk cotton can be used. It is used doubled.
