Product Details
The striped nursery collection starts with a straight-forward blanket, bunting and ball, then a hat and progresses onto a romper. If this is your very first project all items can be knitted in one colour. As your competence and confidence grow, you can move on to the next project and try colour changing.
The blanket has arm/harness holes so that you can wrap it around baby and attach to a buggy/car-seat. The holes can be fastened with small flat buttons (or omitted if preferred). Optional pompom(s) on hat & bunting.
Knitted for my daughter, Saskia, (now 6) and the ball and blanket are still in use (see pic).
If you know someone who wants to knit for your newborn, this is the ideal pattern to give them, choose the colours to match your baby's nursery, all styles also work in a solid colour (bunting also looks great in a mix of colours if preferred)
Knitted in easy care wool/acrylic
Revised pattern 06/05 includes stitch count amends to sz 12/18m romper (underlined) & schematic of romper
