This is an easy beginner level pattern that requires only chain and double crochet stitches in US terms. The pattern has photos for the basic technique and how to attach the optional popsicle stick.
The pattern includes instructions for two sizes:
Small for a baby or child. Suitable for kids up to about age 6 as a car seat or stroller blanket or cuddle blanket at home. 25” wide, 33.5” long not including the optional stick. Small size requires about 590 yards (540 m) of dk weight yarn.
Large for a child or adult lap blanket. 33” wide, 50” long (84 cm wide by 127 cm long) not including the optional stick. Large size requires about 1,180 yards (1,080 m) of dk weight yarn.
