This pattern uses sport weight yarn and a size G crochet hook. I used Anzula Vera Sport (65% Tussah Silk, 35% Linen, 365y/114g - 1 skein). You'll also need a lucet fork for the optional i-cord straps (you can make them chain or foundation single crochet straps instead of i-cords if you'd like). I do include a video tutorial showing how to make an i-cord using a lucet fork.
This project is worked top down, starting at the neck. Side edges with loops for the cord are added later. The i-cord strap is sewn or crocheted onto the neckline, then woven through the back loops and tied to secure the project.
This pattern is written as a one-size pattern, fitting approximately women’s medium/large. Due to the back tie closure, there is some flexibility with sizing.
