Bust out your stash! With one long circular needle and the magic loop, use up all your bits and bobs of yarn with a clever method of color-blocked quilted knitting. There are no ends to weave in! Make a scarf for yourself and a scarf for your jar.

Yarn Samples worked in various worsted weight yarns from stash. The largest size can be completed with approximately 450 yards. Your mileage may vary.

Suggested Needles US size 4 (3.50mm) straight needles US size 8 (5.00mm) 40” long circular needle

Notions 3 yarn bobbins 2 to 4 buttons

Gauge 16 stitches = 4 inches (10cm) in stockinette

Sizes 3¾(4½-5¼-6---7½-9-10½) inches wide by your desired length

Skills Used Working a small circumference in the round on a long circular, otherwise known as ”Magic Loop”.

This scarf pattern is written with three knit columns of equal width. Once you get the swing of the technique, try more columns, or try columns of varying widths!
