Product Details
With this knitting pattern you can have bright and cheerful sunflowers in your home all year round. The flower’s stalk has a bamboo skewer inside it so that it stands up straight. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the flower and leaves are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The stalk is an i-cord tube worked on two DPNs. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, a picot cast on, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish. The sunflower is 7cm diameter, and the flower and stalk are 21cm tall above ground when planted.
