Product Details
Some springtime fun, this egg cozy is an easy knit. I wanted a traditional egg cosy because they can seem a little kitsch, and to me that’s part of their charm. I hope they make you smile too.
Ideal for using up oddments of plain or semi-solid yarn, it’s a lovely way to squeeze every last bit out of a favourite skein - a happy reminder for the table.
This is a great project for a novice to learn a lovely stitch. It's easier than cables but looks great. An intermediate knitter could make a few in one evening, perfect for tiny gifts. The pattern is written for working flat because I just wanted it to be fun and quick!
(If your intended recipient hates eggs, it will do double duty as a tiny cache pot, if you line it with a little plastic for waterproofing.)
