Product Details
This cafetiere cover is really a bit of fun to try out a few new skills – principally Fair Isle in the round and knitted steeks. The pattern is easily altered by repeating or omitting the corrugated ribbing to fit the cafetiere for which it is destined. . Use whatever scraps of 4ply you have to hand - actual amounts are given - and to suit your colour scheme, preferably with the main background shade being a dark neutral and the principal contrast being the palest neutral. Hopefully, having had a go at working a knitted steek on such a small scale and having learned to cope with the trauma of “slashing” through lovingly hand knitted work, going for a full scale sweater may not seem so daunting – and there could be a few Christmas presents made into the bargain! Why not now try my cardigan "DELFT" to show off your new skills.
