Product Details

This hand towel is worked in one of my favorite stitch patterns - the Suzette Stitch! It is an easy combination of single and double crochet's that produces a gorgeous textured fabric. Keep in mind that 100% cotton yarn will stretch while hung, and used. In a 6 month time period, my C2C hand towel stretched just under 2" in length. I didn't measure it again after that (especially since it really didn't matter to me), but if you want something that will keep it's shape a little better, try using a blend of mostly cotton paired with acrylic (as long as not using with heated items) or wool. I also only use my crocheted hand towels for drying my hands.

Materials You'll Need: 445 Yards of Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn [I used Lily Sugar n Cream in Dazzle Blue (80 Yards) and Ecru (365 Yards)], an H8/5mm Crochet Hook and Tapestry Needle.

Time: I spent just over 5 hours, 15 minutes.

Jewelry pliers are a useful tool to help weave ends in when using tough yarns, like cotton.
