Product Details
Sway is a beautiful shawl that starts at the top in the centre, expanding into triangular shape and ending with gentle lace. The way the shawl is worked causes the centre of the shawl to sway, hence the name. The whole triangular goodness is finished off with playful tassels.
The shawl is worked in two yarns, smooth 4 ply/fingering and delightful Kid Silk Lace, body is worked in stripes and front post stitches resulting in gorgeous texture. The lace border only in Kid Silk, giving it an open and airy feel.
This is version 2 of Sway shawl, the first one was published in Crochet Now magazine last year. I have expanded the body and lace, change the yarns and the shawl has been transformed.
Pattern note – Pattern is written using UK terminology with US conversions given in brackets in the abbreviation list. The pattern is written and charted.
