I can't think of a nicer Spring project than a new baby blanket. This is a perfect baby blanket, the pattern is beginner friendly, hardly any tails to neaten and such easy rythmic stitches. The cotton yarn is soft and gives fabulous stitch definition.

I would definitely recommend this pattern! It's easy to work, even for a beginner, and instructions are easy to follow. I worked this pattern using different colors, and it's very easy to simply use whatever colour you choose, with just a lighter shade of whatever colour as the contrasting shade. It'll look beautiful!
