This hat is perfect for beginner knitters that want to make something unique but aren't quite ready to move beyond knit and purl. Simple slipped stitches give this hat a beautiful texture. This hat is worked with a thicker yarn on smaller needles to create a densely knit fabric and very warm hat for the cold months.
Note: I have received many emails and questions regarding the stitch count of this pattern. Although this is a 5 stitch repeat, it is worked in the round so the stitch count is 84 to make an even space between each swirl. This is intentional so that the pattern texture is seamless.
