Product Details
This squishy, snuggly shawl is knit from tip to edge forming an asymmetrical triangle. You begin with garter stitch in cream, moving on to garter stitch stripes in cream and green, followed by more cream garter stitch. Changing colour for the lace section using two shades of green and ending in a few rows of garter stitch in black, with a picot edge cast/bind off. The lace pattern is easy to follow, making it an ideal introduction to lace and texture. The shawl is an easy knit ideal for relaxing evenings.
Tension/Gauge: 15 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm/4in using 5.5mm/US9 needles measured over garter stitch after blocking. Although tension/gauge is not too important for this pattern, it may affect the amount of yarn you use.
