Product Details
Taleisin was a 6th Century bard who'd gained wisdom by accident from the goddess Cerridwen while tending her cauldron. He lived in the kingdom of the Dal Riata as a musician and story teller.
The Taleisin Blanket is a worsted weight cabled rectangle that makes a perfect throw or lap blanket that can be worn as a wrap. It’s perfect for cool summer conditions because it is fairly light weight, and the ribbed areas conform to your shape as a shawl would. Keep this blanket on the back of the couch, across the foot of the bed, or hung over a railing when not in use, to illustrate your mad skills as a knitter!
Any worsted weight yarn will work, but cables look best in a solid, heather, or tweed. Some prefer cables in light or medium shades.
